"GO AFTER WHAT YOUR HEART DESIRES & GIVE IT ALL YOU'VE GOT"
#allaboutme
I’m a fierce but sweet #goaldigging human who enjoys making people laugh, cry, smile, sigh and/or curse with my craft. I love the color pink, sometimes I run in heels and no, I can’t dunk, but yes, on a very good day, I can touch the rim though.
A Montreal native, I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from Concordia University and upon graduation, (plot twist!) I turned down a part-time faculty position to teach a class there because my mind was set on moving to Vancouver to pursue a career in film and TV. I have since relocated to Toronto and call it home for now.
I wrote, directed, produced and starred in my own project for the very first time, a short film entitled Meet Me Inside which won Best Thriller at the Venice/Milan Film Awards and Honorable Mention – Best Short Film Noir at the Independent Film Awards. It has also been picked as an Official Selection in 8 film festivals in Canada and the US. I am excited at the prospects of continuing to create content and I currently have a few narratives and unscripted projects in development.
I am a member of the ACTRA Toronto Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the Young Emerging Actors Assembly (YEAA) and have also acted as Toronto ACTRA Women’s Committee Co-Chair. I like to get involved because I believe we need to support and provide more opportunities for women and BIPOC artists in the film/TV industry, both in front and behind the camera.
